While the textual content is non-linear, I suppose it’s important for the dates to be available to grasp the historic breadth of the works. Again, with the chapters arranged thematically with the identical construction scaffolding each the text was consistent and the framework extremely clear. I didn’t find any examples where key phrases were overlapping, confusing or contradictory. The consequence to ‘build a broader, extra comprehensive view of the character and definition of visible art’ (p.1) is impressively achieved.
